School's Christian Worker Project

MAR. 01, 2025

Latest News letter from Jane Webber ... Oswestry Christian School's Worker

Dear Supporters

"Rejoice  always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is     God’s will for you in Christ Jesus". 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

God's word calls us to     rejoice always and pray continually, and there have been many reasons to     rejoice over the last month. Two primary schools took part in a whole     school prayer space, allowing the children to engage in praying for     themselves, and others. Staff who were present commented on how calm some     of the children were while taking part in the prayer stations. One member     of staff also spoke to me about how being in the session made them feel     emotional. This enabled me to talk further about prayer and how God can     connect with us.

What's Happening in March
  • Diary of a Disciple workshops start this month. 11 Primary schools have signed up so far.

These workshops allow Children to explore the life of Jesus through the gospel of Luke. They will take part in activities including art, quizzes, reading and drama. At the end of the workshop, each child will take home a mini copy of Scripture Unions Diary of a Disciple book.

  • Assemblies continue this month and include themes such as, Forgiveness, courage and hope.

  • Lessons in St Martins Secondary this month will focus on the life and death of Jesus and how the gospel spread through the witness of the first Christians.

Thank you for your  faithful support of the project.

Blessings

Jane
